Don't Say This Senator! [GDP2022]

"Sir we are live, please stay focused!"

This game was made during the 18th edition of The Game Dev Party in 48 hours!

The theme of this edition was "18+" and this is why we opted for a parody of "Les Guignols de l'info", a French TV dedicated to political matters. It was well known for it's adult jokes and excentrical caricatures!

How to play you may ask?

In "Don't Say This Senator!" you play as a television manager in charge of a problematic senator, your objective is to keep your interlocutor calm until the end of the broadcast while avoiding dropping your viewer rate to 0.

You have several tools at your disposal :

- Spacebar to censor the speech of the senator (you regain a percentage when the journalist changes subject, be careful to not lose it all or you won't be able to do much...)

- Leftarrow to turn on a fan that relax the Senator if he gets angry (but careful, after each use the fan will need to recharge due to low budgets...) 

- Rightarrow to raise back that wild microphone-pole that keeps falling (be quick before anyone sees this nonsense!)

- It's game over for you if the rating down on the left goes to 0, as you need to keep viewers on the channel, make sur to last until the end of the interview. Good luck!
